Gelaterias, ice cream and cup desserts
A layered ice cream is made to be seen. In a cardboard cup it disappears; in a clear can, the pistachio layer, the raspberry layer and the cream layer read one by one, from a distance.

You fill the can straight from the display, in layers, close it with the machine and put it in the freezer. The seamed end lets no air in, so no ice crystals form on the surface and the ice cream does not pick up freezer smells.
The closed portion travels without leaking and survives the trip home far better than a cup with a clip-on lid. For delivery, the intact seal is the proof that nobody touched it on the way.
The same can holds semifreddo, tiramisu, cheesecake in a cup and granita alike. It stacks in the chilled display, it labels with flavour and date, and it counts easily at closing.
The cans that suit this application
Standard #202 — one machine seals them all.

The can sealing machine
We also sell the can sealing machine that closes PET cans with an aluminium end — the complete solution, from packaging to sealing, from a single source. We have one machine for the #202 standard and one for #211.
- Seals aluminium ends onto PET cans
- One machine per standard: #202 and #211
- Simple operation — ideal for cafés, gelaterias and artisan producers
- Robust build for intensive use
- Special price depending on the quantity of cans ordered
It is also called a can seamer, a can closing machine or simply a can sealer. It is the same machine: it mechanically seams the aluminium end onto the mouth of the PET can, by double seaming.
