A wedding favour has one problem: it is made in a hundred and fifty pieces and has to look like a product, not like a bag tied with ribbon. The sealed clear can looks exactly like shelf packaging — because it is.
Sugared almonds, pralines, sweets, homemade biscuits — they go into the can and are sealed a day ahead. They stay hermetically closed, so they do not spoil at room temperature in the hall and they do not scatter over the tablecloth.
The 360° printed sleeve carries the initials, the date and the event's artwork over the whole surface of the can. You need no mould and no thousands of pieces — exactly the number of guests is printed.
The can stands upright at every place setting, it is seen through and it does not tip over. After the event the guest takes it home closed, and the contents last — unlike an open favour, which usually goes straight into the bin.

It is also called a can seamer, a can closing machine or simply a can sealer. It is the same machine: it mechanically seams the aluminium end onto the mouth of the PET can, by double seaming.
